Founder · Operator · Growth Lead
For nine years I've started companies and scaled others across African and global tech, from zero to 300K users and $2B in volume.
Currently exploring strategy and operations, GTM and growth roles. I have experience building and leading teams, and can also thrive as an individual contributor. My work has spanned North America, UK/EU, and African markets.

About
I started out co-founding a digital marketing agency in Lagos, then spent years as a senior growth and marketing operator inside some of Africa's fastest-growing companies, NairaEx, Kora, Seedstars, Africhange, and Smile ID, owning go-to-market, product-led growth, P&L, and teams of up to 25. Along the way I took products from zero to hundreds of thousands of users and billions in transaction volume.
Then I went back to building. I cofounded rivva as CEO, raised a 6-figure angel round, and shipped a product across four platforms. I grew Founders Connect, my media and events platform, into a 200K-strong community and one of the most trusted voices in African tech. Right now, I'm consulting as a fractional marketing and communications lead at Zipline, and I speak on Africa's tech scene, including on the TED stage.
I'm a Mandela Washington Fellow with an MBA from Imperial College Business School. What ties my work together is range: I build the operating systems, strategy, revenue, analytics, and people, that make growth repeatable rather than lucky, and I do my best work in ambiguous, fast-scaling places.

Africhange
I joined pre-scale as founding growth lead and owned marketing, product-led growth, customer success, and HR. We took the product from zero to 300K users and $2B in transaction volume, on best-in-class unit economics, while I built and led a 25-person cross-functional team and lifted operational efficiency by 30%.

Smile ID
As the senior-most marketing executive with P&L ownership, I repositioned a regionally known product into a Pan-African category leader through a full rebrand and multi-market launch. I built the company's entire content engine from scratch: 13+ data reports and guides, 52+ country-coverage SEO pages, case-study videos, and tens of webinars. I also built the outbound demand-generation engine from zero, using Apollo, Dripify, and my CEO's email and LinkedIn to run targeted sequences that filled the enterprise pipeline and closed deals with two major banks. Under my marketing, identities verified grew 233% over two years as the company crossed 200M verification checks.

Peace simply gets it and is a star at what she does. I learnt a lot on the key aspects of marketing, on task and delivery prioritisation, and on how to manage people.Emmanuel Agwu · reported to Peace at Smile ID

rivva
rivva is an external executive-function system for adults with ADHD, an AI planner built around your energy that helps you plan, and re-plan, a realistic day. I cofounded it, raised a 6-figure angel round, hired the team, set strategy, and shipped across iOS, Android, web, and a browser extension. We launched to #4 Product of the Day on Product Hunt. I ran targeted outbound to land the first 1,000 users, then built an organic engine that compounds through search, referral, and AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude. Adoption spread across Nigeria, the US, UK, Canada, France, India, and Brazil, with the US and UK leading on paid conversion. In the data, I found that connecting a calendar made users 12.5x more likely to retain, and built the onboarding around that activation.

What surprised me was how much it changed my thinking. Instead of dumping tasks into a list, I now think about energy, timing, and trade-offs.Marcus · Content Lead, rivva user
Founders Connect
What began as a YouTube interview series became one of the most trusted voices in African tech, and I bootstrapped it to $300K in revenue from event and content sponsorships. I've hosted 100+ long-form interviews with the founders of Paystack, Kuda, Carbon, Bamboo, Flutterwave, Bitsika, Eden Life, and more, produced Innovating Africa, Nigeria's first tech-focused documentary, and hosted 3,000+ people at live events across Lagos, Nairobi, London, and Toronto.
